One of my very favorite minerals, aquamarine is the blue member of the beryl family, which also includes emerald, heliodor (yellow), morganite (pink), bixbite (red), and goshenite (colorless).

Aquamarine has enjoyed a long history of spiritual or metaphysical use. Traditionally, aquamarine has been used as a charm by sailors for protection at sea. It also preserves and enhances mutual love to maintain a good marriage, and ensure truth in relationships and business dealings.
